Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes is known to be nothing but a REAL reality star being on several reality shows such as Celebrity Apprentice, and Dancing With The Stars. Now that she’s on her seventh season of Housewives, she gave some words of wisdom to those who are planning to join a reality show on Live! with Kelly and Michael this week.
“Well you know I like being on a show like this, kind of platform, it’s always interesting that people come on the show with these backgrounds and they thing that the past is not gonna ever come out. But once you step on a show like this, people really start to bring out your past.”
The reality star can relate to this, as her past of once being a stripper was laid out in front of the cameras by her cast mates, and instead of hiding from her past she does nothing but embrace it. “So I always say to people, when you come on this show, this is such a huge platform you should start talking about your past first. You should start talking about it before everyone else starts talking about it.”
Lucky for us we will get double the real-ness this summer as she and former Real Housewives cast member Kim Zolciak-Biermann are in the works of their own spin off show The Road to Riches. The new Bravo series will show the duo going on a road trip together.
“I’m sure Kim and I will die,” she joked when speaking of the show with Kelly Rippa and Michael Strahan. “One of the things I’m most excited about is working with Kim, just the two of us. I just left Housewives where I was working with like, six monsters.”
