Janet Roach: Gina Did Say "Throw The Newbies Under The Bus"

janet-tea

Janet Roach from the Real Housewives of Melbourne is not only funny, rich, and glamorous, but she is also a pot stirring, bomb dropping, total bitch. This may not be new news to you if you have watched the Melbourne franchise from the beginning, but what really was a surprise this week was Jackie’s crazy behavior. Before we get to Janet Roaches comments lets get to a little recap of the episode.

On Tonight’s episode of the Real Housewives of Melbourne Gina Liano and Jackie Gillies (Who might be joining the Beverly Hills franchise) get into a all out epic showdown. I must admit after watching tonights episode not only am I more in love with Jackie but i’m more in love with the Melbourne franchise.

Jackie Gilles drops a bomb that might break up #RHOMelbourne allies Gina Liano and Gamble Breaux. While arguing with Gina, Jackie gets very upset when newcomer Gamble defends Gina, so Jackie spills to Gamble that Gina had thrown her partner under the bus during there interview with the morning show.

Not only that, but Gina had asked both Jackie and Janet Roach to help her throw the new girls under the bus! Jackie claims that Gina wanted to take down the newbies before she even bet them, while Gina denies this, Jackie turns into a full blooded mafia member and starts using the work fuck more than I can count!

“You Fucking Lieing Sack of Shit” Jackie screams out as Gina tries to tell Gamble that Jackie is making it all up! Everyone who hasnt seen this episode yet needs to watch it!!! The Arena TV version is the best, its longer, and its unedited! Check out the clip below

Now Real Housewives of Melbourne Janet Roach is taking to her Arena TV blog to comment on this weeks RHOMelbourne episode, including the show down between Gina and Jackie.

Janet Begins,

There is such a rich history of the benefits of teas and herbs. If you study the medicinal history of many ancient civilizations, all their medicines came from the observation of many different combinations and treatments of plants documented over millennia.

Many of our modern pharmaceutical medicines were developed from ancient medicinal recipes, then sadly replicated synthetically. Blending, experimenting, growing and drinking medicinal tea and herbs has been a passion of mine for 30 years.

My youngest son Jake was in a fire and desperately wanted to start a charity to help other burns patients. My absolute passion is all things Tea. We decided we would do our own medicinal tea range to fund the charity.

We registered “the Roach Foundation”, and got to work on our teas. We called our tea company Raw Essentials. After many incarnations, much tea sourcing, blending, trialling and over 16 months, we are finally really happy with our product.

Jake came across a world renowned Tea Master in the Philippines. After much communication, I decided to go to the Philippines with our tea and get some feedback from her, before we went to market. Jake was unable to come with me.

The girls had been so supportive over the 16 months, testing and trialling and giving feedback about the teas. I decided to ask if any of them would like to come with me, and to my absolute delight, they all said yes.

The Philippines is a stunningly beautiful country with a lush tropical climate. Enchanting to look at, but murder on the hair. My hair was like fairy floss the whole time we were there.

The most amazing thing that happened to our hair though was when we were outside looking at the sunset on the balcony of the 71st Grammercy, an electrical storm was brewing. After about 10 minutes our hair started to stand on end.

Gamble and Pettifleur have long hair and it stood up straight about 25 centimetres in the air. Even Chyka’s hair was standing up straight. It felt and looked so strange, we couldn’t stop laughing. That has never happened to any of us before and it felt great for the four of us to share this FIRST together.

What no one else gets to see is the behind the scenes stuff. Well let me tell you, that first night out started with joy and laughter. There was the happy vibe of a group of friends away on an adventure and tonight was the start of that.

Lydia was meeting Joanna’s parents and family, I had asked Chyks to join me in meeting the Tea Master, this was the first group trip away with the girls for Gamble and Pettifleur, Jackie had just run a marathon for charity and almost didn’t make it, and Gina was writing her book and needed some time away. We do have times where we all get along well and enjoy each other’s company. They just don’t seem to last.

The biggest thrill for me was meeting Renee Sebastian, world renowned Tea Master.

I asked Chyka to come with me to meet Renee because we share a love of all things in the kitchen. We both love to cook and experiment with flavours.

Chyka loves to style it and I love to grow it, but all roads lead back to the kitchen. When I told Chyka about Renee and that she was going to teach us to blend our own tea, I knew Chyka would be in.

Renee is a Philippine national who was educated in America and speaks with an American accent. She has followed her dreams and started a flavour tea company called De-Yu-Da. Her teas are amazing, she uses only the best quality tea and has added fruit and different herbs to make the most amazing flavours. Just stunning.

We chatted with her for a few hours about suppliers, pitfalls, the theory of blending and all things tea. Renee gave us the most delicious afternoon tea of fresh baked local pastries and cake and fresh fruit and amazing tea. It all went too fast. We agreed to continue our friendship and keep in contact. Chyka and I left with bags of tea and pots and our own special blend of Chai tea. Incredible day.

Continuing on with the bad hair theme, the day at The Farm luxury spa was idyllic. The gardens were breathtaking (my second passion is my garden), and each pavilion had its own stunning setting. There were even peacocks running around.

We were all talking about what we were doing in our life and where we were hoping to go. I know it looks a bit like conflict, but between us we have a lot of experience in life and business. I think we get the benefit of each other’s experience, and although we may not want to hear it, it’s priceless.

I think we help each other dodge a few mistakes. Some smart bitch will bring up the holes in your plan that may not have occurred to you. If you can stand the heat, it’s a remarkable group. Hahaha, I am probably so happy because for once, I was not involved in any of the disagreements. A welcome relief. And I got to see the Tea Master. One of my dreams. With interesting, stimulating company.

All in all I had a wonderful trip. You can see more about the Roach Foundation here.

Oh, Gina did say to Jackie and I, “let’s throw the newbies under the bus”.

RHOMelbourne Sneak Peek: The Drama Continues!

Chyka Keebaugh "Shines" In On The Gossip Surrounding Gamble Breaux

Ep2RHOMelbourne

Chyka Keebaugh of The Real Housewives of Melbourne is taking to her Arena Blog (Pretty much like a bravo blog) to gossip all about Episode 2 of The Real Housewives of Melbourne. Chyka Keebaugh explains her part in the ‘rumors’ surrounding Gamble Breaux and admits that Janet Roach is being too judgmental. Which is a surprise to no one have you seen the show? Janet is the shit stirrer of this group of ladies. Was anyone else surpised the Chyka actually gossiped!?

Chyka Begins:

“After the fairly sedate first episode the action is picking up and I just love it. So exciting! We all do some catch up’s this week – dying to know how the new girls are feeling and getting to know one another.

Lydia and Pettifleur have a catch up and I think her summary of the girls was very harsh and will certainly raise an eyebrow amongst us all. I am not sure how I feel about all this as yet, watching it all play out in front of me is very interesting!

My lunch with Gamble, Jackie and Janet at the beautiful City Stokehouse was really fun. I hope you all appreciated my helpful hints on how to keep your lash extensions clean and in shape!

See – it’s real life issues we are tackling here!! My favourite part of the lunch was when Gamble told us she had been giving us all Barbie names which some of the girls loved and hated!

I loved being called Malibu Barbie as she was always my favourite as a little girl! I think Janet is slightly on edge with the newer girls – is she looking for faults in them? Is she beginning to stir the pot?

I know her heart is in the right place but I also know her foot sometimes lands in her mouth! Gamble gives us invitations to her ‘How to host a murder’ party which will be so much fun as we all love to dress up.

The later scenes with Jackie, Janet and Pettifleur looking for costumes was so funny to watch. Jackie and Janet had already filled me in about their outing together and the fact the Pettifleur wanted to try on every wig, every hat, every corset and more plus had poor Imogen running around that shop like there was no tomorrow!

I have to agree with Janet when she says she doesn’t like seeing people treated like ‘the help’, this is certainly one of my pet peeves. The twerking scene was very entertaining and let me tell you that certainly won’t be the last time you see that happen.

Finally the girls are happy with their costumes and off they went on their merry way after a few great facial expressions from the two J’s – you can’t get anything past those two!

Jackie, Janet and I all go to Gambles party together and the room looks absolutely amazing (thank you The Design Depot) I was really excited to meet Rick and he is a gorgeous man.

Gamble is dressed as Marie Antoinette which I wasn’t quite sure how it worked back in with the witches theme, but as I said to Gamble – I think she was going to wear that costume no matter what the theme was.

Everyone made a huge effort and can I say – watching myself I was mortified with how I looked as before I left home I thought I looked great – oh well, thank god witches are meant to look ugly! I did think that Lydia’s witch from sleeping beauty was the most original.

What did you think of Gina’s comment about Janet flirting with Rick? I honestly saw nothing on the night to think there was anything strange going on.

After seeing Gina & Pettifleur connect when they caught up – I was quite sure a strong bond has been forged, although seeing Pettifleur’s face when Gina starting getting bored with the book talk I am not so sure now! Is there some fireworks in the making?

Dinner was amazing and yes I am giving myself a little plug here as The Big Group did the most amazing food that was totally in theme with the evening and Gamble’s vegetarian food request.

The spooky treats were the best with blood splattered macaroons, dark chocolate éclair a with syringe filling and salted caramel chocolate tomb stones in chocolate soil! Are you hungry now!!

Maybe we had too many cocktails beforehand, but when Rick explained the Murder Mystery game, (which was quite fun) it did take a while for us to understand what it was all about! Could you tell by the looks on our faces?

We had all been given characters with certain accents and mannerisms. Some of the accents were hysterical and certainly added more confusion to what was going on! After the game finished Pettifleur told us all about the book she was writing called ‘Switch The Bitch’.

I think I can say we were all having troubles understanding what the theme of the book was, but I promise you, the book is talked about a lot more so you will definitely learn more about it – after finally reading it – I actually loved it, but you will see all of that later on….

The night certainly took a big turn when we found out about Rick and Gambles engagement, I was honestly blown away and we were all so happy for the two of them! I really loved watching how Rick proposed to Gamble – I found it quite emotional and so beautiful to watch.

Janet and I organised a catch up with Gamble a couple of days later to debrief about the Witches party and Gambles engagement. All was great until I bought up the subject of gossip!

Many of you are probably wondering why I did bring it up – but there had been a story in the paper at home about a past relationship Gamble had been in and the fact that it had gone to court etc.

I thought because Gamble was a new friend I would ask her how she felt about it all and gossip in general. In hindsight saying the word gossip was probably the wrong word as I had no idea where that conversation was headed or what Janet was going to say.

In fairness to Janet when it came up about whether you would share gossip with your friends and I asked the question, Janet said she didn’t want to say anything about 4 times. Gamble was insistent on hearing and actually laughed when Janet said there were rumours about her being a stripper and a call girl.

My jaw did nearly hit the table as that was not what I was expecting to hear! To top it off Janet then bought up sex party rumours and my god – Gamble was furious and denied the rumours! I don’t blame her and think the main issue was more that Janet kept saying that she has so many friends talking about Gamble – that’s hard to hear!

Janet did not make up these rumours up and was passing on what she had heard – but as we all know the messenger always gets shot! Needless to say lunch was then over very quickly and before we knew it Gamble had gone.

I tried to call Gamble after lunch, left messages for her and also texted. She didn’t want to talk to me and I felt so bad! The thought of starting a conversation and it ending that way was never ever my intention.”
