Asifa Mirza from Shahs of Sunset dishes on her relationship with Bobby’s mom in a brand new Bravo TV interview. Asifa also opens up about how she thinks Bobby is a mamma’s boy! Last but not least Asifa opens up on Reza’s decision to cancel his upcoming wedding with Adam, claiming that Reza did the right thing by calling it off!
Bravotv.com: Do you get along with Bobby’s mom?
Asifa Mirza: It wouldn’t be unconventional for me to say that most women don’t get along with their mother-in-law. With that said I’m dealing with a mother-in-law who has only one child and is currently single, so her son is the only immediate family she has. She is a very nice lady, but is extremely biased towards her son and is in denial of her son’s issues and faults. Unlike Bobby’s mother, my mother stays out of our issues and never states that her daughter is perfect and everything is Bobby’s fault. When I started to have issues my mother said to me, “Asifa, you are an adult and have the power to make mature choices. If you are having issues, then go to counseling or leave.” On the other hand, Bobby’s mother gets involved to the point where she’s on the phone while we are having an argument. She constantly states that everything is my fault and that her son only started to have a temper when he met me. She is blinded by ego and pride, and it’s easier for her to blame me than to take responsibility for her child’s upbringing. Bobby and I come from two different upbringings, he saw his mother go through multiple divorces, and she is now single. While I came from parents who argued, disagreed, but worked hard to stay together and a create a strong family unit. For me divorce was never a topic growing up, but for Bobby that’s all he saw. I don’t have a perfect family and my parents constantly point out the things I do wrong (I know I have flaws), but Bobby’s mother thinks she is perfect, her son is perfect, and that if anything goes wrong, it’s my fault. She and I are at odds and are very indifferent towards one another. But as his mother, I do need to put my differences aside and have more respect for her.
Bravotv.com: Is Bobby too much of a mama’s boy?
AM: Bobby is the epitome of a mama’s boy, and so are a lot of other men.
Bravotv.com: Do you think Reza made the right decision calling off the wedding?
AM: Yes, I feel that Reza wasn’t confident at the time and didn’t know what he wanted. He made the right choice by taking his time and thinking things through.
Mike Shouhed from Shahs of Sunset doesn’t know why MJ wanted him to apologize to GG. Seriously he doesnt know why he should apologize to GG. Mike Shouhed: I love real estate! I eat, sleep, dream, drink, and live for it! They say the first is the hardest. Since then, it’s had a snow ball effect. I joined Rodeo Realty in Beverly Hills and have helped many other clients find their dream home. My clients were ecstatic with the house I found them on Hartsook. One of my favorite clients and homes. It was a win-win for me and the Mike Shouhed Team!

MS: Surprised? LOL! They all wanted an apology…for what? I dont f—-ing know! My “friends” haven’t demonstrated great friendship with me
Shahs of Sunset’s Mike Shouhed might have just became the new Camille Grammer, he has quickly become one of the most hated cast members in Bravo TV history. It all started, down in Turkey where GG claims Mike tried to take advantage of her in sexual ways. Mike Shouhed: Wow! He really didn’t invite us to his wedding. What was he thinking? Did he really expect me to go to his wedding without Jessica? One day he will look back on this decision and realize what a very dumb mistake he made. Hopefully his wedding will happen one time, a memory that can never be relived, and his friend of many years won’t be there. That sucks!

MJ: GG needed to do what she did. The secret needed to finally be delivered to Mike. Jessica, poor thing, does not deserve this. Golnesa and I tried to reach out to her that day, but it’s a far from perfect situation.

Bravotv.com: Are you a good cook?
Asifa Mirza: I am a great cook, and this is according to people who have eaten my food. I make almost anything and everything, and enjoy the whole process. Cooking is very therapeutic for me; the only problem is having a demanding career and working full time makes it hard to cook. Since Bobby and I live very healthy lives, I tend to add a healthy twist to all of my meals. I cook a lot of Persian stews and typically substitute the meat with chicken.
Bravotv.com: Did living with GG end up being good training for living with Bobby?
AM: No not really… As much as I think GG is a man hiding in a woman’s body, she is nothing like Bobby. Bobby is an entrepreneur who works hard, is super clean, doesn’t overload on alcohol (actually rarely drinks), and does not have an obsession with sharp objects. I have to say he has very good habits, unlike GG. Living with GG is great training if one is about to live with an ex-convict.
Bravotv.com: Were you surprised GG confronted Mike at Shervin’s party?
AM: No, not at all. Just like she dropped the bomb on us at Adam’s birthday, I wasn’t surprised to hear that she dropped it again in a public setting. This is something that should’ve been addressed in private with Mike, not at a party. My heart goes out to Jessica for being put in that situation.

Bravotv.com: How involved were you with your parents’ house renovation?
Asa Soltan Rahmati: Aesthetics, design, and architecture are my thing. When I’m being creative, especially when it comes to design, I’m in my element. So I can definitely be a bit controlling, but mainly because I want it to look amazing. And I knew that my parents would be super happy with the end results.
Bravotv.com: What inspired your new art project?
ASR: The state of the world inspires me for all my art projects. When one woman anywhere in the world is oppressed, we are all oppressed. I will feel united with my sisters around the world and until my last day on this earth; it is part of my journey to be part of the change. I truly believe that if you witness injustice and do nothing about it, you are part of the problem. I am so excited to share my project with you all!

ASR: I was dying on the inside when Golnesa dropped the nuclear bomb on Mike right in front of everyone. My heart broke. The whole thing was like a toxic time bomb that was bound to burst, because it was ignored for so long. From here on it’s damage control.

GG: They say the fastest way to a man’s heart is through his belly… well Asifa won’t be qualifying in that aspect. I’ve never tasted eggs so bland. The scrambled eggs looked like they got a beat down by an angry crack head and they tasted even worse. Hopefully Asifa is good in bed and can keep her man for those skills instead of her “cooking” skills.
Bravotv.com: Why do you think you weren’t interested in dating at that time?
GG: I’ve been in back to back relationships since I was 15 years old. I have sort of lost my ability to love a man, and I simply get into relationships knowing I’ll break up with them soon enough. I was hurt very badly once, and I’ve become pretty numb to love ever since. I simply want to take a moment and be single and reflect on myself and what it truly is that I hope to get out of a relationship. Learning to trust again is not easy. Especially when so many men cheat!
Bravotv.com: Why did you decide to confront Mike finally at Shervin’s party?
GG: Many people don’t understand the dynamic between me and Mike, and they never will unfortunately. After the incident in Turkey, things became very awkward between us, perhaps because of his guilty conscience, and he would always talk to me in an angry way. I had warned him many times to stop talking to me like that, but it only got worse. Mike was being extremely disrespectful and condescending toward me; so much so that everyone else noticed it too. After giving Mike a million failed chances to be nicer towards me, I couldn’t respect him anymore. I was holding onto a secret that I knew could damage him, but I did it out of respect for our 20 years of friendship. But how does anyone hold onto loyalty for someone that is walking all over them? I wish things could be different. But he never made the effort. His guilt led him to be so mean to me and enough was enough. I had to drop the bomb.

I’m a control freak, so having to rely on other people to come through in order to be able to proceed is hard for me, especially when they don’t come through!

RF: Adam and I ultimately decided to go the destination route for one reason: All the guests that show up for a destination wedding really love and support you, and they really want to be there. It truly weeds out all of the people you feel obligated to invite, but don’t want showing up.

RF: GG’s decision to confront Mike at Shervin’s party was truly disastrous, because of how it affected Jessica. Mike and GG are both in the crew, they can deal with one another as they see fit in the heat of the moment. If Asifa knew her facts she would know most women are afraid to admit to sexual abuse. Anyway the newest Persian princess continues to bash GG, calling her out for trying to make Adams birthday party all about her. Asifa also claims after knowing GG for 10 years she thinks that GG is doing this all just for attention because that’s what GG feeds off of. While I have to admit GG is a bit of an attention whore, I don’t see her lying about this. I guess we will find out during the lie detector test episode!

Asifa Mirza: That is the only way to communicate with her, since she can’t hear that well. But no, I did not live there long enough to FaceTime her often.
Bravotv.com: What was going through your mind when GG dropped the bomb about Mike?
AM: Why would she drop this bomb/accusation at someone else’s birthday party? Better yet, why is she brining something so “traumatic” up one year later? At this point I don’t know what to believe — does this girl want attention or is she really telling the truth one year later? Any normal person who experienced what Golnesa is alleging would not spare a minute in bringing this to someone’s attention and or talk to Mike about how inappropriate he was behaving. The only level-headed reason for Golnesa to bring this up in the manner and time she did was for attention. After 10 years of knowing her, I have come to learn that she loves attention and will do anything to force/divert the light on her. It’s Adam’s birthday, we should be focusing and celebrating him, not discussing some bulls—. If true, this should have been addressed immediately after it happened, not a year later when she finds out Mike is proposing or at a birthday party…this is outright wrong, tactless, and will negatively affect people. Innocent people suffer at the cost of B.S. If by some magical reason she is speaking the truth, then at this point (one year later) keep it to yourself and your non-mutual close friends. The statute of limitations for this issue expired a while back… Now let’s celebrate Adam’s birthday and Mike’s engagement!

AM: Yes, very. I am not interested in knowing this information and seeing people get hurt. At this point, I wish I didn’t know.

Star of the Shahs of Sunset Reza Farahan, revealed in a new interview with BravoTV that he believes that Mike tried to fuck GG! He says that Mike is always thinking with his Dool (penis) and not his head, Reza also goes on to bash MJ’s boyfriend after claiming he wouldn’t say anything bad about him. He does admit what we all have been thinking, and that’s MJ’s boy friend is ugly with a capital U!
Bravotv.com: At the time did you believe what GG was saying about Mike?
Reza Farahan: I believed GG when she told me the story about Mike trying to hook up with her for many reasons. First, Mike is always horny. Second, Mike was all over GG at the club the night before the incident. Lastly, I know Mike really well! This is definitely in the realm of possibilities for him. I think that in the board meeting that is Mike’s life, his dool is the CEO and always has the last word!
Bravotv.com: What did you think of MJ’s new boyfriend?
RF: Honestly, I don’t want to speak ill of him, but he is not the caliber of guy that MJ should be dating. Plus, he’s really unattractive, and I know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but damn, unless your eyesight is off, homeboy is ugly. I mean ugly ugly.
Bravotv.com: Did Adam enjoy his birthday celebration?
RF: Adam had an amazing 30th birthday. He’s such a wonderful partner, and he deserves the best. I was very pleased with the way things turned out, and the best part was the custom “sea glass” cake. If you know anything about my guy, you know that he’s obsessed with sea glass, so I’m glad I was able to find a pastry chef with vision to make that amazing cake.
