Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa’s Giudice’s attorney James L. Leonard cleared up a lot of rumors this week, giving us an update on the status of Teresa’s stay in prison, her relationship with her husband and how her family is doing while she serves her 15 month sentence in Danbury, Connecticut.
With rumors of divorce, cheating, and an early release, her attorney tells E! News that Teresa is remaining positive during her term, and that she does have a release date. “Teresa’s release date is still set at December 23rd. That has not changed She will celebrate Christmas at home.” She is set to serve the rest of her sentence on house arrest.
Leonard also cleared up rumors of the reality star leaving her husband. “She is not filing for divorce. She is not even contemplating it.” As for her four daughters at home? “At home, Joe and the girls are gearing up for summer. They’ll be out of school and will have their activities. They are still going to visit her as much as possible.”
The reality star is also managing a routine and adjusting to prison life that she began serving in early January, keeping to herself and doing what she can to pass time. “As far as prison goes, she’s maintaining. She’s adjusted well, she has a routine and she just takes it one day at a time. With the weather breaking, she’s spending more time outside. There is a track so she’s been walking and running on the track a lot.”
