In the trailer for their latest Real Housewives of Atlanta spinoff, Kandi’s Ski Trip, Kandi and Todd try to repair the damage between their two clans with some intense bonding on the bunny slopes.

“We decided to do a big family vacation so we could mend our issues and blend our family with Todd’s,” says Kandi.

While most families would likely try to work out their issues with the help of a counselor, or at least have a game plan, the Burrusses and Tuckers let their usual drama take over.

Instead of a calm kumbaya moment, there’s legal weed, snowboarding wipeouts, cheating accusations, and even mention of a lie detector test. If this is how they spend their vacation, we can only imagine how crazy holidays get!

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss is opening up about this week’s episode and her talk with Phaedra Parks in a new interview with Bravo TV. Kandi admits at the time she felt better after talking with Phaedra, but hints that their relationship might have been strained since Manila.

Bravotv.com: How did you get through that long flight to Manila?

Kandi Burruss: I slept the entire way!

Bravotv.com: Did you feel better about your relationship with Phaedra after your talk?

KB: Yes, at the time I did.

Bravotv.com: Did you feel like the vibe changed for the better after everyone talked through their issues at dinner?

KB: The vibe definitely changed for the better. We had a really great time after that.

In one of BravoTV’s shortest interviews, The Real Housewives of Atlanta Star Kandi Burruss opens up about her feelings on Group Therapy claiming that it didn’t help her at all. She also talks about how sending the video to Nene was a kiss ass move, and admits she is skeptical about the trip to Manila.

Bravotv.com: Did you feel like progress was made at the therapy session?
Kandi Burruss: Not really. At least not for me.

Bravotv.com: Why were you against sending the video to NeNe?
KB: Because it was a kiss-ass move. She doesn’t even like most of the girls. Why go above and beyond to try to be friends when she doesn’t put in the same effort?

Bravotv.com: Were you excited about going to Manila?
KB: I like seeing new places, but I just didn’t know what to expect going on a trip like that with this group.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 Episode 18 Recap

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 Episode 18 featured a pissed off/upset Phaedra Parks take the first move to divorce Apollo Nida after her felon husband checked into prison a few weeks back. To start off the show we saw Phaedra come to the realization that she is done with Apollo Nida.

Way before Apollo Nida failed to report to prison and nearly assaulted Phaedra in their final blowout fight (which was creepy as fuck we must admit, you don’t hold something you can kill someone with and creepily whisper for them not to call the cops after you flip out) , he had been acting more and more erratically she claims.

Phaedra admits Apollo Nida terrorized their home by “always getting into fights” and claimed that he never allowed her to “get a peaceful night’s sleep,” no matter what the situation was. But now that he’s in prison, she says, she finally is at peace and so are we.

“I thought he was a changed man,” Phaedra spills to Ronnie

“I married him because I knew that he loved me. Some people do change their lives and make a difference … maybe he was conning me the whole time.”

“It’s a sad time. A divorce is a death. A death of a relationship.”

Meanwhile, we return back to the group counseling session as tensions was still at a high between the Housewives of Atlanta. We learn that after Porsha Williams beat down Kenya Moore (in what was an epic moment we might add), those two agreed to squash their beef and move on.

Porsha admits that she is still bitter over accusations that she slept with a married man, while Claudia explains she feels Porsha took sides when NeNe came after her in Puerto Rico.

“It is OK for you to sit and laugh at another woman calling me a whore,” Claudia says. “But when I bring up what you’re actually, really doing – allegedly – it hurts you.”

Claudia eventually does apologize for bringing the rumors up the way that she did, and Kenya takes her share of the blame for their fight as well. Porsha and Claudia mend there problems… atleast for now.

After talking about how they should respond to Nene leaving the group therapy, they decide to send her a video to thank her for making them go to group therapy. Because they don’t kick her ass enough!

Phaedra Parks Admits She Will Always Love Kandi

Phaedra Parks is the latest housewives to get an interview with BravoTV she reveals why she is disappointed in Kandi and gossips about the conversation she had with her former BFF Kandi Burruss on this week’s episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Bravotv.com: What did you think of NeNe’s new ‘do?
Phaedra Parks: One never knows what to expect from NeNe! She’s got quite a selection of unique coifs and the guts to wear them. The day she visited me, I was focused much more on her support and friendship than her hair, but I’m all for her blow out.

Bravotv.com: Were you surprised Kandi got so emotional when she came to talk things out with you?
PP: I was not surprised when Kandi got so emotional. Kandi and I are very close friends, and I would like to think we are still close. She’s going through some problems with her marriage, had a bad business deal, and was in an emotional state of mind. Throughout this ordeal I’ve reached out to Kandi several times to no avail. Instead of Kandi being upset that I had commented to NeNe about our situation, I just wish she had realized that she hadn’t been very supportive of me when I needed her the most.

Bravotv.com: Did you feel like you and Kandi resolved your issues after you talk?
PP: I don’t think Kandi and I have any issues. I was just disappointed she wasn’t more present during the time I really needed her. Kandi is a good person and I will always love her.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta  is talking all about the group therapy session and explains how Phaedra Parks disappointed her in this week’s episode in a new online exclusive interview with Bravo.

Bravotv.com: Did you and Todd ever finish your pros and cons list?
Kandi Burruss: No, we didn’t.

Bravotv.com: Why did you get so emotional with Phaedra?
KB: I had a lot going on at the time. Yes, I was upset about my play being cancelled, but I also had some personal family things that I was dealing with as well. So I guess I was just extra emotional. It probably wasn’t the best time to go talk to her, but I was wondering what was going on with our friendship that she had to discuss it with NeNe and Porsha without ever mentioning to me that there was a problem. Watching this episode, it irritated me to see Phaedra try to brush off what was going on with me by saying that I was just upset about a bad business deal. I wasn’t upset about the money. There was a whole bunch of stuff that was going on with me that she didn’t take the time to ask about either. And now just because I didn’t text her every day, I’m a bad friend.

Bravotv.com: Did you feel like you resolved your issues?
KB: I don’t know if they’re resolved or not. Obviously she doesn’t tell me when there is a problem. I guess only NeNe or Porsha knows. Or I’ll find out while watching the show. I just find it so crazy that she was confiding in them about how I’m not a good friend… Had the shoe been on the other foot, I would never have discussed our friendship with them before talking to her about it.

Bravotv.com: What was going through your mind during the therapy session?
KB: I was thinking, “Why am I here?” Most of the conversation was about the problems between NeNe and somebody: NeNe and Kenya, NeNe and Claudia, NeNe and Cynthia… I didn’t want to be in that discussion. NeNe never feels that she is wrong, and if you tell her that she is or if you don’t agree with her, then she’s going to have a problem with you. I didn’t even want to say my opinion. I hate that Dr. Jeff even asked me to say anything.

Bravotv.com: Were you surprised that NeNe walked out?
KB: Yes and no. Yes, because she put the counseling session together, and no, because she loves to give a dramatic exit.

Phaedra Parks Shades Kandi Burruss Down To Tears

In another clip from this week’s most recent episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kandi Burruss heads over to Phaedra Parks’ office to gossip to her all about NeNe’s idea to have the women go to group counseling. Which in our opinion was a bad idea from the start. Maybe two of them should go in at a time for therapy if you want to be able to hear any words! Kandi tells her Parks that NeNe had slightly insisted that Phaedra had been talking smack about Kandi behind her back.

“I wasn’t talking to her about it,” Phaedra pleads. “She just said that she thought that we were closer and the night at the restaurant that you didn’t come out. I thought our friendship was a little tighter and I just thought if nothing else I’d get a text or a page or something, because I am going through a lot.” With a husband in jail, and a divorce on its way we would have to agree on that one!

A teary eyed Kandi responds, “But it hurts my feelings because I feel bad because I don’t want you to feel like I’m not trying to look out for you. I’ve been going through some of the same things like my tour was going to be cancelled. After I left you guys I had to go and tell the whole cast and crew that it was over and they were not going to have their job. For me, it was a big deal. I understand what you’re going through is a bigger situation, at the same time, you didn’t reach out to me to see, ‘Hey, what happened? What’s going on?’”

In her confessional, Phaedra admits, “You’re sitting here talking about how you had a business deal go awry. You’re still a millionaire. If my money could make me sleep at night, I would be sleeping like a baby. I don’t have a shortage of that, but I do have a shortage of friends that I can count on to say, ‘I love you. I support you and I’m here for you.’ And that’s what I thought you were.”

Kenya Says Kandi Burruss Is “Blindly Loyal” To Phaedra Parks

Kenya Moore is oh so very how do we say it? Kenya Moore’ish in her newest interview up at BravoTV.com.  Below is the transcript!

Bravotv.com: Why did you think Kandi knew about the Chocolate rumors?
Kenya Moore: Clearly it’s not a “rumor” if it comes from one’s husband. With that said, we all know Todd and Kandi and the Nidas are all close friends. I naturally assumed Kandi knew and was being the keeper of Phaedra’s secrets. I do believe Kandi is blindly loyal to Phaedra and has had problems before seeing the truth and her faults. I laughed when I saw Kandi in her confessional say, “It wasn’t any of my business,” when I asked her if she knew about Mr. Chocolate. Yet Kandi was the only one grilling me over the Apollo texts and had plenty to say then.

Bravotv.com: Were you surprised Phaedra walked out on Cynthia?
KM: Not at all. Phaedra has always either told lies or diverted the attention from herself to someone else to avoid the truth being told about her. Cynthia merely stated that Phaedra never fact checked prior to spreading Apollo’s lies about me. Phaedra had no response or defense, and thus she fled so she didn’t have to answer the obvious.

Bravotv.com: What did you think of NeNe’s idea to bring everyone to a group counseling session?KM: I thought it was a joke coming from her. I was particularly offended when I wasn’t invited but somehow blamed for having the most issues with the women. Nice try NoNo! Historically speaking, NeNe has been the common denominator when it comes to dissension amongst us. She has also ruined every single friendship she has had dating back to Kim, Sheree, Marlo, Cynthia, and myself (to name a few). Sorry, I forgot — now she claims we were never friends… Dust!

Kandi Skeptical Of NeNe’s Intentions With Phaedra!

Kandi Burruss is sharing her opinions on the confrontation between Phaedra Parks and Kenya Moore during this week’s episode of RHOA. In a new interview with Bravo, Burruss says she is tired of the drama and reveals if she is skeptical of NeNe’s intentions with Phaedra.

Bravotv.com: Were you surprised Todd was so bothered by your bonnet?
Kandi Burruss: No, I wasn’t surprised. He’s always talking crap about my bonnet. That’s nothing new. We’re coming to a compromise about the bonnet. I’ll just put it on after he’s asleep.

Bravotv.com: Were you skeptical about NeNe’s intentions with Phaedra?
KB: Of course I’m skeptical. NeNe has been nice these last few months, but that does not make me forget the years of drama and insults that have come from her in the past. Yes, I get that people change, but it’s OK for me to proceed with caution as I would’ve thought Phaedra would. Well, hopefully things will continue to be great with them and NeNe can continue to be Phaedra’s rock.

Bravotv.com: What was going through your mind during the Phaedra and Kenya drama?
KB: Honestly I was just over it. Every time we all get together there has to be some lame ass “tea” spilled, and I’m just tired of it. Seeing Phaedra jump up was shocking, but clearly she wasn’t really going to hit Kenya and Kenya definitely wasn’t going to do anything.

What tripped me out was hearing Porsha and Phaedra make me out to be the enemy because I left the table two seconds later than they did. That just felt like they said, “Hey, we’re going to put Kandi in the middle of this drama in some way.” Well if Phaedra is really going to play into this whole “Kandi’s not my friend because she didn’t jump into my argument and run out the room faster than me,” then OK… So be it.

Kandi Burruss Suggests Marriage Counseling To Todd Tucker

The Real Housewives of Atlanta returns to Bravo on March 1st after a week hiatus and in this special preview, Kandi Burruss and husband Todd Tucker attempt to discuss their martial problems. Todd is completely caught off guard when Kandi suggests marriage counseling. (Which completely catches us off guard that he was even surprised.)

“My main thing is not enough sex,” Kandi tells her husband. “Can we have sex more than once a week?”

When your womens complaining about not enough sex, you know you have a serious problem in your relationship! What kind of man wont please his women more than once a week!

And Todd isn’t happy with Burruss’ criticism.

“I can’t believe Kandi wants me to go to marriage counseling!” Todd says in his interview. “I know things have been tough in the bedroom, but is it that extreme?”
