Kenya Moore is known to twirl her haters away, but apparently the wind could not keep her away from a lawsuit! Janet Hubert who was set for the role of Kenya’s mother in her new series Life Twirls On had recently announced that she filed a lawsuit against Kenya for nonpayment. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star is now speaking out about the lawsuit.
She claims the lawsuit has no merit and that these are false allegations. Kenya is also accusing Janet of doing this with another employer she had in the past.
“I don’t fight dirty and when it comes to my business I don’t play. There have been numerous false allegations made from Janet Hubert regarding non-payment for her work on the TV pilot Life Twirls On and most recently criminal activity,” Moore said on Instagram.
She continued, “Although Miss Hubert has been issues a total of 4 checks for her work since November 2014, SAG/AFTRA has officially determined that Moore Vision Media does not owe Miss Hubert any additional payment and all claims have been settled.”
Moore concluded her statement,”We regret Miss Hubert felt it necessary to make relentless personal attacks by slandering the producers, however, we echo the sentiment of the producers of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and wish Miss Hubert well in her future endeavors.”
Well twirl on that! The show will premiere tomorrow Friday May 8th at 8pm. You can watch the premiere on Kenya’s Facebook page or KenyaMoore.com. The Network has yet to be announced.
