Real Housewives of Orange County Episode 5 Recap

The Real Housewives of Orange County Returned tonight with its 5th episode in its 10th season. The show began like usual with a recap of last weeks events. Shannon Beador and Meghan King Edmonds beef, blah blah blah. To be honest i’m really not looking forward to tonight’s episode as I lost my mom last year and well we all know how this episode ends. Why is Heather Dubrows storyline like just about her house? Anyway next came the typical Real Housewives taglines, and well what can I say i’m obsessed with Shannon Beador’s tagline. “When life gives you lemons, put nine in a bowl!”

The show begins, at Meghan King Edmonds house during her moving day. We watch her mother Katie and her husband Jim help out with moving while Meghan clearly just bitches but does no work. Oops i’m throwing shade already. Yup Jim’s still packing as Meghan continues to be counter productive.

At Least Megan’s mom is nice, Shannon Beador calls Meghan! Shannon brings up Megan’s party, and asks how it was. Shannon tells Meghan that shes having a party tomorrow and invites Meghan. Meghan claims shes surprised to be getting a phone call from her considering how Shannon reacted to her calling Shannon. Shannon tells Megan’s shes trying to extend the olive branch but Meghan is not having it.

Shannon Beador reassures Meghan that she will be okay at her house, Meghan tells Shannon that she looks forward to Shannon proving that to her. Shannon flips out in her confessional, because well Meghan is a bitch. Seriously Shannon is actually trying here Meghan is not.

Vickie Gunvalson and Tamra Judge are having a spa day together as they talk about having grandchildren. Tamra says that she wont let being a grandma change her. No granny panties for her. Vickie believes that Tamra becoming a grandmother will actually changer her life and do her well. Aka it will soften her up.  Its nice to see Vickie and Tamra actually getting along again, they seem like they are having a blast at the spa.

Next up Heather Dubrow is taking her kids to get a haircut…… at like the most expensive salon I have ever seen. Still though seriously why is Heather Dubrow so boring! Like whats her story line? Shes good at grooming her kids? Is that it? We learn that Terry Dubrow is currently away filming season 2 of Botched!

Back to Shannon Beador, Shannon calls Meghan back. Ohh Shit. Shannon tells Meghan that she has a problem with Megan’s last state ments of having to prove herself to Meghan. Shannon tells Meghan that she extended the olive branch however she does not feel the need to prove herself. Good girl Shannon you shouldn’t!

Over to Vickie and Brooks Ayers now as they are preparing… im not really sure I wasn’t really looking but Lenka, Brooks’ Health Coach, shows up! Brooks reveals he just finished his third round of chemo and the results aren’t looking good. Lenka tells Brooks that he needs to rid his body of toxins.

Lenka is trying to explain to Vickie that Brooks needs to starve his cancer cells in order to cure him. Lenka is a very interesting character. Lenka suggests organic coffee enemas for Brooks. Vickie however is very disgusted and starts to laugh.

Over to Shannon Beador as she begins to prepare for her party tonight, her lovely husband David is helping Shannon out along with Sofia Shannon’s house keeper. David Beador reveals that the girl she saw at the beach the other day…. was…… not his mistress…. but an old friend. Bam Bam. Shannon’s friend Kristina shows up in good time because Shannon is having a breakdown over thinking David was talking about his mistress and not some old friend.

Shannon reveals that shes being well pretty paranoid about everything, she explains to her friend that David finally deleted the email account that he use to use to talk to his mistress on. This made Shannon feel like he was actually trying, however im not really buying it anymore after last weeks reports about David and his mistress.

Back to Meghan King Edmonds and I really just don’t care that she’s moving…. next scene please! Oh the torture does not end, back to Heather Dubrow as she visits her husband Terry at work. Heather reveals that Terry loves fame and he loves to be on TV. Hey even the camera men of botched wear scrubs.

Apparently Heather Dubrow is getting something done to her hand by Terry. It seriously feels like Heather has a script because she over acts so much. Stupid joke after stupid joke, Heather is upset that Terry works so much due to Botched and he apparently never asked her. She just keeps bitching….

Finally someone not annoying, Back to Shannon Beador as the party at her house is about to begin and everything looks gorgeous. Wow the first person to show up is Meghan King Edmonds. Holy awkward. Shannon is not happy Meghan is the first to arrive.

Meghan claims that Shannon is trying to prove that she’s a bigger person and keeps throwing jabs at her to remind her. Lame Confessional Meghan your wrong not Shannon. Tamra Judge and Heather Dubrow arrive next! Tamra is surprised to see Meghan their, and claims that she feels like Shannon is trying to throw a dig at Meghan by inviting her to show her that she is the bigger person.

Shannon doesn’t think Meghan is actually trying to make amends but rather she is trying to look good. Jeanna ARRIVES! Oh have i missed her. Next up is Vickie to arrive and they all finally are here. What the hell is bunko?

Flashback to 80’s night apparently that’s when they played it last! Meghan is bitching to Tamra about how she has to move all by her self. Meghan reveals that she only spends 50 percent of the time with her husband and the other 50 he isn’t in the OC.

Shannon begins to explain the game rules but im lost, or maybe i’m just concentrating on typing. Meghan explains in her interview that its a game for old people, damn another dig at Shannon!

The ladies are enjoying themselves so far, as Meghan reveals that she is a competitive person, Shannon actually says the same thing in her confessional as well. These ladies do not like to lose! Vickie and Shannon are in the kitchen chatting and Tamra yells for them to come back! However Vickie gets the phone call we all have been dreading.

Vickie falls to the ground in tears as she learns that her mother has passed away. Her screeches fill the air as she collapses to the ground in a full on fetal position. My heart is literally breaking right now. You literally can feel the pain that Vickie is going through right now and its heartbreaking.

Vickie is hysterical on the ground as the other ladies continue to play the game not realizing Vickie has just experienced hell on earth. Vickie is crying/yelling “OMG Briana please no, I can’t do this.” Vickie Continues “How could she die, DAMMMIT!” Shannon walks in on Vickie, and Vickie starts screaming her mom died. Shannon holds Vickie and holds her tight. Vickie is breaking down completely. She tells Brianna and Shannon she needs to go home and see her mom.

Tamra and Heather scream in shock as they find out what happen. Vickie is literally falling apart and all the ladies are their crying and trying to support her. Vickie is a mess screaming she needs to go see her mom and that she needs to be with her mom.

Heather calls Brooks and tells him that Vickie mom has passed away. Heather sends a car for Brooks so he can come comfort her. Heather is starting to cry as shes on the phone with Brooks. Heather calls her husband crying that Vickie’s mom just died…. like did Heather even know her??

Someone really needs to turn off the camera right now, Vickie is an absolute mess. This really is horrible i hope she isn’t watching. Vickie keeps screaming “How can my mother just die on me, how could she leave me.” Vickie tells the girls that she needs to get to Chicago before breaking down again realizing that she has no parents anymore. Vickie calls billy her brother hysterical asking what happened and screaming at him to wake her mom up. This really is heart breaking. Vickies brother says that shes gone and that hes sorry he cant wake her.

Billy is a mess too, seriously someone turn off the cameras… Brooks arrives finally and holds Vickie close to him. Vickie explains in her confessional that she is not ready to stop learning from her mom and doesn’t know how she will function again. She explains that this is what worries her about Brooks, she can’t lose another person she loves.
