Raven Symoné Officially Hired as Full-Time New Co-Host

During Wednesdays episode of The View we were all informed that after being a temporary co-host for 40 plus shows, Raven Symoné has officially been hired to for a full-time gig as a new co-host. Raven Symoné is known for her Disney channel show called, “That’s So Raven,” if your a child of the 90’s you may have watched this show religiously.


Our once childhood Disney star Raven Symoné is all grown up now! Not to long ago the former Disney star, announced to the world that she was a lesbian. Creating even more of a stir recently on the View, Raven Symoné claimed that she did not like labels, she did not consider her self gay, nor did she consider her self an African American.


This of course happened on a day that Whoopi Goldberg was sick, otherwise i’m sure they would have had a mini brawl over Raven Symoné’s revelation. Raven Symoné claimed that she considered her self an American, and that they African label should be dropped. She did not mean this in any disrespect to her ancestors, she just felt like since she was born in America she should be considered an American.


The View’s official twitter, sent out the following message this morning, informing the public of Raven being hired full time.




In a statement to the public, The View’s producer Bill Wolff said the following about Ravens hiring, “Raven is smart, funny and genuine. We’ve loved getting to know her, and we’re all thrilled she’ll be part of The View every day. She brings a fresh perspective on the hot topics of the day, and she’s a lively, welcome addition to our conversations and interviews.”


Raven of course is pretty thrilled to have been picked as a full time host, tweeting the following video this morning.
