Real Housewives of Atlanta star Nene Leakes and former Atlanta housewife Kim Zolciak are teaming up for a spinoff on Bravo called Nene and Kim: The Road to Riches. In all honesty I did just look out the window but I don’t see any pigs flying.
To describe Nene and Kim’s relationship as a rollercoaster would be an understatement. When Zolciak left Real Housewives of Atlanta they had reached a truce of sorts where they may not be best friends but they wished the best for each other. I guess time does heal all wounds or Phaedra said a special “Fix it Jesus” and it worked.
Bravo released a statement about Nene and Kim: The Road to Riches, “Atlanta’s ‘most driven’ housewives…drive out of their comfort zones and across the country to discover America on a one-of-a-kind adventure.”
The four returning shows announced by Bravo were Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Caroline Manzo’s spinoff Manzo’d with Children, real estate success Million Dollar Listing LA, Ladies of London, our favorite women from across the pond are back for a season two and Kim Zolciak’s other successful spinoff Don’t Be Tardy was renewed for a fourth season as well.
Besides Nene and Kim: The Road to Riches the other new shows picked up by Bravo include new franchises of already existing shows, Married to Medicine Houston and Below Deck Mediterranean.
Also included in the list of new shows is Ladies of Dallas which I’m assuming should just be titled Real Housewives of Dallas and My Fab 40 which is like a My Sweet Sixteen but for housewives. I can only assume instead of new cars these ladies would rather have you gift them botox.
Bravo takes the drama to the ski slopes of Whistler with the show Apres Ski. Also on the network’s list of new shows is a travel show called Tour Group, Fit Club a show about Manhattan trainers and Mother Funders which follows suburban mothers in Locust Grove, GA who are in a PTO (Parent Teacher Organization). I can only imagine this show would be similar to the movie Mean Girls but as moms.
Last but not least on the heels of the successful Top Chef, Bravo has announced another cooking show called Recipe for Deception. From the description on Bravo’s website it does appear to be a Chopped knockoff where there is a mystery ingredient and four chefs begin and they get eliminated one by one.
Regardless of which show you are looking forward to, Bravo knows how to bring the drama and I’m sure there will be plenty to go around with these new and returning shows.
