As fans of The Real Housewives of New York City know Bethenny Frankel has been and is still currently in the process of a divorce with her former husband Jason Hoppy which, has been an unpleasant process for a few years now. The pair also shares a daughter Bryn together. The Skinny Girl mogul shares her thoughts on dating after divorce and having a child with Bravo’s Daily Dish.
“I think that women are insecure about having children and getting back out there again. I think that women are also worried that men wont want a successful business woman.” In Bethenny’s opinion, she believes that dating later in life does in fact have a bright side to it. “I think when you’re older, you’re wiser and you’ve weeded things out. You know what you want. When you’re younger, you have too many choices and you can kinda really go anyway about it. When you’re older, you’re a little more selective.”
She also says that people should not try to make something if there’s a deal breaker at hand. “If you’re divorced and you have a child, and someone doesn’t want to date someone with a child, there’s no reason to even have coffee.”
A tip for the fearless independent women out there-“If you’re a woman who is a strong woman and a man can’t handle that, then theres the door.”
