Kathryn Calhoun Dennis breakout star from Bravo TV’s Southern Charm opens up in a brand new Bravo TV interview. Kathryn tells us about the lonely times during the campaign and making up with Craig. Kathryn talks about her new townhouse, she calls it not the fanciest place, but explains that’s exactly why she likes it because it makes it perfect for the Senate race and her baby.

Kathryn explains because of her move, she now lives closer to Craig, and because they are around the same age, its just natural for them to become friends, despite there rocky relationship last year.

Bravotv.com: How do you like your new townhouse?

Kathryn Calhoun Dennis: I love it! Perhaps it isn’t the fanciest or most luxurious place to call home, but that’s exactly why it’s perfect. With a baby and a Senate race, it’s just the right size for me to keep it clean and organized.
Bravotv.com: We see Thomas telling you that he isn’t coming home, because he’s busy preparing for the campaign. How often did that happen during the campaign? Were you alone a lot?

KCD: Thomas spent several nights away during the campaign but for various reasons. It was definitely difficult to be alone during such a stormy time, but Kensie kept me busy…and happy!

Bravotv.com: Last season your relationship with Craig was a little rocky. When did you two start hanging out again?

KCD: Craig and I were definitely not each other’s biggest fans last year, but since the move downtown, we’ve grown to become close friends. We’re living very close, and we’re very close in age, so I suppose our friendship transpired more naturally than anything.

Bravotv.com: How often do you get the opportunity to go out now that you have a baby?

KCD: The opportunity to go out after having a baby is really what you make it. I chose not to for months, but after a solid six or seven, I managed to squeeze in a night or two during the week to be social, see friends. Kensie goes down for the night at 7 and doesn’t typically wake up as we were very hard about sleep training, so I could have her nanny there after she went down and have a little “me” time.”

Have you guys been watching Southern Charm this season?
