Teresa Giudice has been serving a 15-month sentence in Danbury, Connecticut since January and although this has been a major adjustment for the Real Housewives of New Jersey star, her lawyer James J. Leonard says that she’s “adjusting well.”

Leonard talks about Giudice’s job in the kitchen, something that she is enjoying during her sentence. “Teresa has a job working in the kitchen. She told me she enjoys it because it helps her pass the time and allows her to interact with other inmates. She loves being in the kitchen because it reminds her of home.” After all, she is a best-selling cookbook author.

Not only does Teresa enjoy being in the kitchen, but sweating it all out in the gym. She has her strict routine working out after every meal, and even helps teach fitness classes. “She is helping to teach exercise classes. The women take turns leading classes and she has her little group, so once in a while she takes the lead.”

Her lawyer also shut down several rumors of her so-called “high-maintence behavior.” “Any reports that she is behaving like a diva in prison and not getting along with inmates and the staff is 1,000 percent false,” he tells People.

“She is getting along well with everyone-staff, inmates-all the way down the line.” Teresa is due to be released in December, giving her six month left in prison. She will finish out her sentence in early February service home confinement.
