On Monday, April 20, Claudia endorsed the legalization of medical marijuana on Twitter, touting the benefits of pot for both those being treated with the drug and those looking to get rich off it.
“Happy 4/20 day!!!! Just an investment tip but medicinal marijuana is a FANTASTIC thing to invest in. Millionaires being made as we speak,” writes Claudia.
“Trust me on this one…. its like being able to invest in alcohol right as it was being made legal. Imagine how much $$ you would have made.”
While Claudia’s support for legalization might seem like a way of outing herself as a secret stoner, the Rickey Smiley Morning Show host says that’s not the case — she’s just attracted to the business end of things.
“Endorsing medicinal marijuana isn’t telling folks to go out and smoke a bowl,” says Claudia. “They are using it for so many good reasons>Cancer patients.”
Claudia may not be lighting up personally, but we’re sure her bold stance on this polarizing issue has won her a legion of thoroughly mellow new fans.
